"Sustainability" in a word, within the framework of an agreement between the Cinerari family and the Municipality of Siziano which provided for the redevelopment and securing the entire green area, the pond and the re-construction of the beautiful multifunctional wooden pavilion.
In the Casatico countryside, near Siziano, stands a small private church of the sixteenth century, handed down by the families who have owned this land over the centuries.

Always dear to popular devotion, the little "Gesiolo", as it is known in the area, can be reached on foot for a prayer or a walk.
Today the entire area is owned by Armofer, which has its headquarters in the immediate vicinity, in Casatico. Following the tradition of the place, Armofer has redeveloped the entire area, in agreement with the Municipality of Siziano, leaving access to the public not only to the church, but also to the redeveloped green area.

The park area redesigned by Armofer and now open to the public is called “Gesiolo Park Expo”. A small (in terms of size) but large (in terms of content) urban redevelopment and landscape project. Armofer has redeveloped the entire green area around the church, in particular thanks to an important naturalistic engineering intervention it has taken charge of the redevelopment and safety of the banks of the lake, now open to the public and to local sport fishing associations.

Finally, the redevelopment project involved the insertion of a new elegant building, all made of wood ... an idea of the Cinerari family that has become a concrete project and therefore a reality for Siziano and an added value for the area.
Inaugurated in March 2023 by the Mayor of Siziano, Donatella Pumo and by Emilio Cinerari CEO of Armofer, the "Expo Pavilion" tells another story: that of the Cinerari family's strong link with the territory and the approach to the profession chosen by the family of Siziano: recovery, demolition, safety and reuse.

The so-called "Expo Pavilion" owes its name to its history: in 2015, the building was one of the most beautiful pavilions of the universal exposition, entirely built in wood.
Carefully disassembled and rebuilt in the new context, the project is the concrete testimony of a long history of attention and care for the territory and for environmental sustainability understood in the broadest possible sense.

In fact, the following year Expo 2015 Armofer, a leading company in Italy in the demolition and recovery sector, found itself dismantling the area of the universal exposition that had made sustainability its banner. Armofer, perhaps unique among the companies involved in the Expo Dismanling operations, tackled the work by taking up the challenge of sustainability and recovery. Armofer has not simply "demolished" the pavilions. Strengthened by his experience and ability in the sector, he has worked in the direction of selective dismantling, aimed at recovering the materials used as much as possible or even at reconstructing the pavilions themselves in new public or private contexts, to give life to new projects.

The building that has already been seen for a few months in Siziano, right next to the Gesiolo, with its enveloping roof pitches, is mainly built in wood following the architectural lines and aesthetic canons, precisely linked to the structural construction in wood, of the previous pavilion of Expo. The dimensions are approximately 30 x 15 m, with two floors above ground for a total surface area of approximately 465 m2. Rethought and adapted by Armofer to new needs, the Casatico pavilion is used as a cultural center for events related to the activity of the Cinerari family company, but it will also be able to host public events of the Siziano community, as reported in the agreement signed with Common. Inside the elegant pavilion and with the green frame of the beautiful garden that surrounds it, the new wooden pavilion has already hosted public events of the Municipality of Siziano, thus confirming the importance of this place for Siziano.
