Covered bridge

There are many original pillars and beams in this private mansion, and how to restore a more diversified use of space for residents, designer Zhou Zijian adapts measures to local conditions, and designs everything for people, he integrates the "corridor" and "bridge" with oriental freehand into the home, and the sense of experience and interactivity runs through this case.

The "corridor" and "bridge" have not only become the core of the home's circulation line and the carrier of the field, but also more like the beautiful expression of the oriental family's free connection to intimacy. In this way, every family member can be in the right place, and the feelings of living in peace are integrated into the daily life of fireworks in everyone's world.

The original staircase on the first and second floors was demolished, and the designer retained one of the original cement pillars to reshape the spiraling staircase.The natural texture of cement and logs is ingeniously integrated, and the steps are up, twisting and turning, like a simple trail, highlighting the unique leisurely meaning of the mountain city, and the elegant interactive scene carries the beautiful memories of time for the residents.

With the "covered bridge" facing each other, the designer set his sights on the construction of one window and one wood, with the oriental aesthetics of "natural simplicity, calm and ethereal" as the link, using the most mediocre and elegant proportions to open up the original wall, and the whole foldable doors and windows to bring in the scenery.

For a moment, the home seems to be wrapped in natural freehand, which gives this home full of meaning a beautiful tone of grace and freedom.Architecture and interior, nature and people are more organically linked, connecting the unique inner space temperament of the home...

With the "Covered Bridge" as the interactive "hub" of the home, different functional areas are cleverly divided, and under the "Covered Bridge" is an open restaurant space for families.

From the ceiling to the dining table, the designer uses dark and light wood tones to give the space an extendable warm look.The small black square bricks are inspired by the architect Le Corbusier, creating an orderly and calm texture of the space, giving the restaurant a just right retro freehand.

The wooden porch naturally becomes the best framing frame, and the sunlight reflects the trees, and the light and shadow are intertwined, outlining a very charming painting in the interior.Whether it is a restaurant or a Chinese or Western kitchen, the elegance and style are not self-evident, and the residents' meals and meals are also aggregated and opened, and they become fireworks in the world...

Life unfolds like a scroll, and the leisure area of the residents on the first floor shows the elegance and nobility of the East.The quaint Taishi chair embodies a calm texture from the arc of the lines to the texture of the log, while the rattan chair and retro table bring a casual space, evolving the elegance of the coexistence of wealth and nature.

A screen with oriental connotations adds an artistic context to the space, a pot of tea and a book, and a quiet and healing leisure life emerges spontaneously.

Looking through the fireplace, you can see a relaxing place for parents.The artistic conception of the oriental space, the Japanese garden outside the window, and the soft furnishings are made of wood with Chinese and Western elements, and the culture is intertwined and integrated, and the design transcends the sticking to Chinese symbols, forming a continuous dialogue across time and space with the space.

Sino Western symbiosis

The designer has made different light holes on the inside of the original windows in the stairwell, and the light and shadow jump into the space, creating a unique landscaping and enjoying the scenery, making the home seem to have a soul.

The staircase behind the restaurant is connected to the second floor, and the "covered bridge" is surrounded by wooden shutters on both sides that can be opened and closed to form the hostess's yoga room.

When the window is closed, the full and slow private yoga delights the body and mind, and the designer uses a more flexible and flexible design language to find the spiritual temperament of the residents' life, and the body and mind also get a beautiful relaxation and rest in the space.

The study area is filled with the collection of residents, a column of "beauty leaning", presenting oriental feelings but without losing a sense of relaxation, in the quaint place that fills the heart, there seems to be a few points of luminous inspiration, connecting all the small pieces of beauty in the depths of memory.

The "Covered Bridge" is very elegant and shows the charm of the residents.Whether it is a transition area full of artistic texture, or a chess and card leisure area for the elderly, the artistic conception of life is more integrated with the east and west, the old and the new, and the photography works of many virgin owners themselves, so that the whole home reflects the spiritual characteristics of the owner everywhere, which is also the "coincidence" carefully arranged by the designer.

The soft decoration of the bedroom is also made of Chinese and Western elements, and the cotton and linen texture is the majority. The Orient, which is moistened with the ancient relics, also shuttles freely in each rest space, with its own inclusive temperament.

The symbiosis of Chinese and Western artistic conceptions, the designer does not fully abide by the tradition while recovering the tradition, but after completing the interactive dialogue with the current aesthetics, the home is pure and elegant, and bright and far-reaching.
