Reimagining homes for the elderly through a minimalist yet comforting aesthetic.
Blessed with views from the surrounding hillside landscape, the Evelyn Towers is a rework of a quaint apartment, designed to meet the changing needs of its elderly owner. The proposed scheme was centred around durability, connectivity, safety, and mobility with contemporary sensibilities.

Features tailored specifically to the safety of the owner - who was living alone - were also incorporated, including the use of wood veneers, softened edges, curved furnishings, and heightened ceilings. Whilst warm and cozy, it was also essential to convey a sense of vitality, hence the choice of colourful details and accents throughout the home.
