The Hangar’s garden was born as a completion of the museum space dedicated to contemporary art. The contemporary garden is characterized by a dense and impenetrable natural forest with 3500 Carpinus betulus on the border and a large, formal parterre with grasses, perennials and long hedges of Buxus sempervirens that receive the monumental sculpture of Fausto Melotti. The paths are concrete industrial brushed with joints in brick which recall the industrial architecture of the museum.
