Kährs Maple-FSC Multisport flooring has been installed at Queen Ethelburga's College, in York. Ranked within the top five UK independent boarding schools, by the Daily Telegraph, Queen Ethelburga benefits from outstanding amenities,including a new sport centre. Kährs high performance eco-system was specified and installed, by Reflex Flooring, as part of a £65m refurbishment project, overseen by the College’s in-house architectural team.

The totalinstallation spanned over 3,000m2 and incorporated the College’s new Sports Facility, multi-purpose gym and sports hall. Kährs Maple Multisport was installed onto Reflex rubber granulate cradles and tru-batten understructure throughout the area. The 22mm sports floor is crafted from FSC Maple and has a durable satin lacquer pre-finish. A multi-layered construction gives additional environmental and performance benefits, whilst the floor’s finish promotes easy maintenance.
