The site is located in the city center of Sant Pere de Ribes. Its flat topography borders a national road. The building is oriented towards north-south and places the maximum of classrooms toward south. The services functional programs are organized in the est and west areas. The main access is on the eastern façade, through a porched waiting area that functions as well as reception and indoor playing space. All the classrooms have their own direct access to the exterior. The playgrounds which are oriented towards south work mainly as classroom extensions while the northern green area is used as a playground zone for the children. This classroom extension permits pedagogic spaces such as an urban garden. An industrialized constructive system shapes the inner volume and four vaults suspended by large beams permit to identify the interior space and give singularity to the nursery school. A set of transfused and transparent materials, as well as constructive systems that integrate vegetation, form the exterior façade.
