In January 2024, PORSCHE STUDIO SINGAPORE opened in the prestigious Guoco Midtown.
The design of the new two-story showroom is based on the Porsche Studio concept, but the urban retail format in Singapore is enhanced by the integration of unique features and an elevated customer experience.
PLAJER + FRANZ further developed the design by customizing the floor and wall materials, designing a brand new ceiling, creating new highlight areas and integrating local design elements.
On the first level of the showroom, customers are greeted by the first Café Carrera. The sleek and modern design is mixed with local Singaporean touches such as “breeze block” design motifs and the use of bamboo. A grandstand-like seating area can be used simply as a seating area for the Café Carrera, but also for technical discussions and special events. It also functions as a shop window to the outside world. There is also an Instagram-perfect tunnel with diamond-shaped towers made of galvanized metal that can either be used for a special product presentation or equipped with LED screens.
On the second floor, the area opens up with new modular rooms and a highlight area in the middle that can be used for various activities and events. The second floor also houses consultation and configuration areas.
The ceiling design, modern patterns combined with local bamboo and the use of warm materials, as well as the integration of technical elements, create a new home for customers.
The configuration area at the corner of the building with its impressive screen installation on the wall and ceiling also increases visibility to the outside.
Separate consultation areas with special design elements, the option of dividing the room with light curtains, and a co-working area with a large library wall complete the comprehensive brand experience.
