Identifying the key elements that defined the culinary experience of the Giovanni restaurant located in the city of Manizales, Caldas, was the beginning of this project: the sea, of course, was the main protagonist.

Honoring its 50 years of history while simultaneously creating a fresh and contemporary spatial identity was the main challenge.

For this occasion, it was decided to use a color palette that evoked the depth and freshness of the sea, as well as woods and natural textures to provide a sense of warmth and authenticity.

The environment also features a combination of various materials such as metal and textiles, which are balanced with their colors and the atmosphere. In addition, the furniture layout is designed for flexibility in occupancy to enhance the diners' experience, socialization, and interaction among individuals.

The spatial identity of the restaurant has become an extension of its culinary identity, leading to a unique and unforgettable experience for its customers.

The outcome of this project once again demonstrates that architectural approaches to buildings are rooted in re-inhabiting, adapting, and reusing the constructed city, with the aim of sustainability and reducing the ecological impact of construction.
