Solsticio is a project inspired by the sun´strajectory as its volume translates tropical climate conditions into a playful volumedynamic of balconies and fenestrations which cast dense shadows on itself. The available site is divided into 4 equal quadrants on which the three-unit types layout. Alternately, the apartments keep staggering to opposite sites and vice versa of the building as they locate along the 18-story tower. The project consists of 39 apartments and 3 villas located on the opposite side of the tower. Two levels of parking and lobby occupy the site built up to the property line while the opened third floor shares a 500 square meter green roof garden and a 30-meter-long bio-wall landscaped to buffer dwelling units and villas as it also servesas a vegetated backdrop to the tower.
