In a 200m2 plot in the city of Da Nang – Viet Nam, a residence has been built in fusing modern architectural elements with the verdant embrace of nature. Employing refined architectural elements with the verdant embrace of nature. Employing refined architectural strategies, this home not only offers a space of comfort but also cultivates an environment of harmonious living.

One of the significant challenges the TA Residence faces is the scorching summer sun, especially the glaring sunlight from the west. To address this issue, the architects employed rotating concrete sunshades on various wall surfaces, which is an innovative solution for the house a modern, fresh, and distinctive architectural style. Through this approach, small sun apertures are crafted, allowing natural light to filter in without disrupting the interior space. Furthermore, meticulous greenery placement creates a natural screen, gently filtering sunlight to creat an airy living enviroment. Natural stone cladding is also utilized to cover wall sections, enhancing the insulation properties of the house.

The first floor of the dwelling is elegantly designed as the mail living area. It includes the living room and kitchen that opens onto an eastern-facing courtyard to capitalizes on cool riverbank breezes. The unique design feature lies in the meticulous placement of abundant greenery and a serene fishpond, cultivating a refreshing microlimate that rejuvenates and cools the environment.

The second level hosts the main bedroom and a study, both oriented towards the east to capture natural light and refreshing breezes. Every window is thoughtfully designed to maximize openness, akin to a doorway, forging a robust connection with the outside nature. A recessed balcony adorned with flourishing flora becomes an extend to the bathroom through throughtful skylights and louvered aluminum vents, affording ventilation and safeguarding against inclement weather.

The fooftop terrace is also employed to counteract the heat. Large concrete planters host fruit-bearing trees and vagetables, not onlt help cooling the air but also anable natural beauty and sustainable diet. Aluminum louvred vents and rain-shielding canopies are indispensable components, ensuring optimal ventilation and comfort for the house.

TA Residence shows an exquisite fusion of architecture and nature. The smart design solutions have turned, this home into a superb living haven, where the synergy with the natural environment remains paramount.
