The Vanitas collection pays tribute to the tradition of ceramics: a square tile and a new interpretation of mosaics in keeping with the unmistakable décor of Versace Home.

Vanitas, the latest collection to be produced by Gardenia Orchidea, bears the name Versace Home. The pleasantly tactile surfaces, the three-dimensional décors and the micromosaics with mosaic tiles in different materials (24 carat gold, ceramics with a matt, shiny or metallic finish) express all the character of the new Versace home where daily life means classic splendour and contemporary elegance.

The collection comes in three colours: beige, gold and walnut in formats 60x60 for the floor and 39.4 x39.4 for wall covering. Vanitas renders the expressive ability of the mosaic, beyond the confines of the bathroom and presents new solutions for the dining room and bedroom. It covers surfaces seamlessly with graphic elements and designs which thanks to the presence of some gold pieces, create exciting light patterns.

The number of composition possibilities is surprising and they are all characterized by their high aesthetic quality and practicality. The pieces of high manufacturing quality are made entirely by the master craftsmen of Gardenia Orchidea and are combined with pieces made with the latest techniques developed by the company such as the Hi-res print which is able to create an effect of different degrees of graphics making every design unique and unrepeatable and Mosaic Revolution, a process that allows the tile to be cut with special blades so it can be divided into 360 pieces each of which is given a different angle. Gardenia Orchidea holds the patent for this particular process, which enhances the iridescent properties both of the surface and of the precious raw materials used.
