This Urban Arts Centre project is located in the southern part of the river eco-district of L’Île-Saint-Denis (just north of Paris). The main square, Place de la Batellerie, is at the centre of five buildings with different functions: offices, student accommodations, a hotel, a water sports centre and our Urban Arts Centre. Planned long before Paris 2024 decided to install part of its Olympic athletes’ village here for a two month period, this site, originally intended for a joint development zone and initiated by Plaine Commune (local housing project), has undergone a new evolution in this context. DREAM completes hybrid timber office building with 3x3 basketball courts for Paris 2024 Athletes’ Village
Lo studio d'architettura francese DREAM ha completato un edificio per uffici in legno ibrido con campi da basket 3x3 come parte del Villaggio degli atleti di Parigi 2024. L'edificio a basse emissioni di carbonio fornirà spazi per uffici durante le Olimpiadi e le Paraolimpiadi. Un progetto adattabile mira a garantire l'uso dell'edificio oltre il periodo dei Giochi.

Aquatics Centre Paris 2024
100 years after it last hosted the Games, Paris gears up for 2024. Having created the design for the Aquatics Centre, architects VenhoevenCS and Ateliers 2/3/4/, are thrilled to witness its realisation. The only permanent new building for the 2024 games - together with the expanded green public space and the new bridge that connects the stadium with the Stade de France and the rest of Paris - the Aquatics Centre is an important investment in the future of Saint-Denis and the Paris metropolitan region. Curving Grand Palais Éphémère strives for urban and aesthetic integration with famous Parisian landmarks
Constructed on the Champ-de-Mars in Paris, in front of the Ecole Militaire and on the axis of the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palais Éphémère is a temporary 10,000 square meter building designed by Wilmotte & Associés. During the period the Grand Palais is closed for restoration works, this building will house art, fashion and sporting events, including the FIAC, Saut Hermès and Chanel fashion shows. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, this ephemeral construction will host up to 9,000 spectators to the judo and wrestling competitions.
