This architectural project entails a gourmet Italian products store in Madrid. In this design, we have opted to use specific materials that reflect the authenticity and tradition of Italy.
For the wall coverings, we have selected earth-toned clay mortars, which provide a warm and organic texture. Additionally, the floor has been adorned with terracotta tiles. Both materials highlight the craftsmanship and quality found in traditional Mediterranean architecture.
A large central bar, entirely covered with terracotta tiles, organizes the flow of customers and creates a focal point of interest within the open and high-ceilinged space.
To add depth and perspective, we have incorporated arches reminiscent of Italian architecture. These arches conceal the entrances to private areas of the establishment and create a false sense of depth with their mirrored finish.
As for the façade, we have employed a full glass design. This choice allows abundant natural light to enter the interior and establishes a visual connection with Madrid's urban surroundings.
