The Brooklyn Home Company (TBHCo) Co-developer として

Timber House, located at 670 Union Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn represents the first condominium project in New York to be built using mass-timber in addition to being the largest and tallest mass timber building in the city. Constructed with Passive House principles, Timber House in Park Slope, Brooklyn, is the latest project co-developed by The Brooklyn Home Company with designer MESH Architectures.

Sustainable Elements Include:
● The use of glued-laminated timber (GLT), a type of mass timber produced primarily from softwood trees in second-growth forests
● Solar photovoltaic panels on the roof
● Electric charging stations at each parking spot
● Heating and air conditioning is provided by air-source heat pumps
● Generous mineral wool and polyisocyanurate insulation
● Air sealing with Intello+ smart air barrier and Tescon Vana tape
● European triple-glazed, passive-house-quality windows by Yaro
● Energy-recovering ventilation by Zehnder (Allows a constant supply of fresh, filtered air even when windows are closed

Residences Feature:
● Minimal lighting, continuous LED strips by Kelvix (Oregon)
○ Other lights include Artemide sconces and ceiling light artworks by MESH
○ All lights are dimmable via networkable Caseta dimmers from Lutron
● Custom flooring designed by MESH and produced in Turkey
● Apartment entries secured with smart lock by Latch
