Belisario was born in the discourse of hedonism, a space that promotes and favours pleasure and enjoyment. The stimulus for a new experience.
Inspired by the materiality and dark corners of the cellars, an experimental project has been conceived that celebrates the typical crafts of the city, such as saddlery, pottery, blacksmithing, pasta-making and even the typical gastronomy of San Cristóbal de Las Casas in a contemporary way.
Geometries inspired by bottle bottoms and glass cuts give us a sober and minimalist environment with a sensory offer from its shadows, textures, the clinking of glass materials on metal, shine, transparencies and shapes to its context immersed in a space inside from the patio of a house in the historic centre of the city.
The in/out sensation of feeling inside a garden is the great contradiction of space.
Belisario pursues and promotes research, experimentation, flavours, music and harmony. It was created in an architecture that implies exchange. Not only in and with one reality, but with many realities, capable of multiplying links and connections.
