City hall as a Living room

We will not discover our situation only from books, the way to go is observation. Observing the location of the bird will tell us everything about this city.

From the influx of immigrants, employees, workers, investors, etc. from Tehran and Karaj under the pretext of cheap housing, to the wide boulevards and the lack of footpaths and the lack of public space (especially in the newly established phases), which caused the city to be called by It becomes a car.

In the first step, these observations reveal the difference between night and day in Parand. The residents of this city mainly work outside the city to meet their economic needs, and this makes this city less populated during the day.

But the lack of communal space has caused night life to not flow in Parand, and the city has accumulated cells that are only used for living.

Parand is a city that has become a dormitory.

Imagine a house that is all bedrooms and does not have a communal space inside. If we consider the city as a house, the bird lacks living space.

The town hall is a good opportunity to change the mezzanine of the bird's life. By seeing the town hall as a living room for a house, it can be transformed into a space with the potential of collective communication.

To activate the potential of mass communication, a free platform has been created on the entire site, which has the ability to shape events at all points. On the other hand, the main show stage is defined which can accommodate most of the big events, whether pre-determined (depending on the plans of the city hall) or not pre-determined. This scene allows for free movement and creation of smaller scenes within it.

Various physical programs are placed under these smaller performance stages and platforms. Programs that, by being granular and turning into several blocks, allow separate activities to the city hall.

This freedom takes a formal form in the function of the building, in confrontation with the urban wall, and enters into a dialogue with the city through the creation of gaps within the volume.

to be experienced both by the flow of city cars and by pedestrians.

An experience that, with the activation of these roads 24 hours a day, can bring about a change in the lifestyle of Parand city.
