The private residence in Rivera, Monteceneri, is a three-storey building with three flats for floors. The side flats are three-room apartments that occupy the entire thickness of the building, which allows for openings on three different sides. The living area of these flats faces the south side, towards the main garden, while the bedrooms face a smaller, more private garden, with a focus on privacy. The layout of the flats and the choice of openings on several sides allow good natural light and ventilation through the building. The central flat, on the other hand, is a two-room flat that opens exclusively onto the larger garden. The building's white facades are characterised by a minimalist design with clean, elegant lines. However, the south-facing facade stands out as it consists entirely of loggias. They not only provide shade and privacy for the flat dwellers, but also play an important aesthetic role, framing both the building and the surrounding landscape through large windows. This design creates a visual connection between the interior and the exterior, offering panoramic views of the garden and the natural landscape.
