BACO reflects Deco's philosophy, which is based on the use of 100% natural materials, excluding any sort of fixing between the seats and the backs of the sofa. The back cushions just lay on the seat: this makes the different backs easy to move, like if they were big cushions.
BACO is easy to change and transform, in terms of shape and colour but also in terms finishing.
The back cushions have been designed in different dimensions and they are available either plain or in capitonnè, a classic in the sofa's world, which has been modernized using colourful textiles.
Usually this sort of finish requires a solid back in wood, but the workmanship of DECO made it possible to have it soft.
During the Milan furniture fair in April 2012, Baco received the honorable mention from the YOUNG&DESIGN award.
