Continuous pulls are a favorite in clean-line, minimalist cabinetry styles, and DP215 addresses many of the problems traditionally faced by these types of extruded pulls. When extrusions are cut to length on overlay drawers, they often leave sharp corners that snag clothing and can potentially cause injury even after deburring and finishing. The soft touch rubber end caps on the DP215 cover the ends and not only provide a clean, finished look, but also eliminate any safety hazards.
Grip Rail system also eliminates the issue of grip limitations that often beset traditional continuous pulls. While traditional fittings can generally only be grabbed from underneath with the fingertips, making for a lousy and clumsy grip, DP215 provides a more efficient grip surface with the ability to "pinch" from the top and bottom for a more secure hold to open and close drawers.
