Textiles that bring your room into bloom and add opulence to your upholstery. Introducing our fall collection for 2016, Svensson presents a strong statement combined with magical design. The Fall Collection compromises of two furnishing fabrics – Vy and Dia – and two drapery fabrics - Sawa and Sumire. They are all created in the unique mill environment in Kinna, Sweden where Svensson has been producing high quality fabrics for nearly 130 years.

”As Sweden’s oldest textile firm, we have much to be proud of. We continue to add to and develop our range of quality and functional fabrics with beautiful patterns and colour scales,” relates Dorte Bo Bojesen, Design Director.

At Svensson we combine innovative design and traditional weaving technique. Resulting in modern and exciting fabrics that help create beautiful environments. Together or separately, the fabrics bring character to single furnishings or to the entire room.

The new furnishing fabrics Vy and Dia are both woollen upholstery weights. While Vy is a unique and exclusive jacquard with a painterly quality, Dia offers a small square with a broad expression. Drapery fabrics Sawa and Sumire are patterned with a dreamy, ethereal, watercolour feel, where the colours flow into each other to create dynamics and depth.

This fall’s new furniture and drapery fabrics are available in a contemporary and generous pallet. Together with the existing fabrics at Svensson, the collection offer versatile and exciting combinations.
