Our floating treads are built with miter-cut edges for a clean and continuous appearance. The treads are typically finished on either 4, 5 or 6 sides, depending on their arrangement against walls or stringers.
We will build the treads to compliment the mounting system that they will be attached to; built flat to sit on top of a metal plate, with a reveal for the plate to be recessed, with an opening to slip over a metal bar, assembled on site to wrap around a metal piece and more.
