Hermitage

In response to demand from customers and current tendencies, Vicente Zaragozá has created a completely new collection in Walnut Palm veneer, which is called “Hermitage” in tribute to the famous museum and art gallery in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The collection takes inspiration in the work of Italian masters of the late 18th Century such as Maggiolini and the Manfredini brothers to create an elegant design, which is at the same time original and clearly in the style of Vicente Zaragozá. The inlay features a background of imbuya wood and pieces of mother-of-pearl, as well as a variety of different types of wood making the design itself. Carved elements and gold leaf decoration complete a collection embued with a rich serenity. Furniture to grace the most world’s refined residences. For this collection, our company has created a new lacquer finish called “Carrara”, with two hand-made marble finishes of different colour and clarity. A delicate contrast is formed between the more diffuse base colour and the more realistic marble effect of the areas with gold and silver decoration, producing an exquisite impression of grace and refinement. The “Carrara” finish is also available in other collections, such as “Viena” and “Praga”.
