‚hockey‘ is a revolutionary room divider designed for modern open-plan workspaces that perfectly combines design, functionality and sustainability. At its core lies the sculptural, warm beauty of its timber structure and its adaptability, hallmarks of Kinzo Architects’ design philosophy.
‚hockey‘ is a modular system that offers unparalleled flexibility, inspiring imaginative interior design solutions. The range includes a variety of elements including shelving units, lockers, seating modules with magazine compartments, planter boxes, pinboards, whiteboards and screen mounts.
The supports and frames are made of glued laminated timber, using locally sourced spruce. This industrially manufactured materials, composed of laminated solid wood strips, has a lower carbon footprint than other building materials and is fully recyclable. The laminated wood elements are available in three versions: natural, black and white, featuring high-pigment staining and a water-based varnish.
The crossbars can be quickly and easily fitted between the two curved wooden supports without tools, secured by a knurled thumb screw. This design allows for virtually limitless combination possibilities.
