For Macrolux, Hangar Design Group has developed Horto, an architectural system that introduces highly innovative elements to the lighting sector. Adding decidedly new aesthetic and functional features to technical solutions, it is ideal for use in the most diverse contexts and interiors. Made around a bent sheet metal structure in a simple “C” shape, Horto offers a wide variety of solutions. Thanks to its versatile nature, it perfectly fits into retail areas, showrooms, display areas, work areas or living areas, where lighting is required for wall surfaces.
The structure has a black or white double skin, which provides the system with a dual advantage. From a purely aesthetic viewpoint, its inner surface, separated from the external support, provides a continuous or contrasting colour combination, creating total white or total black options, such as white/black or black/white contrasts. The external skin can be faced with the widest range of finishes according to the context, including chrome and wood veneer. Fitted with a light open fixture, the dual structure provides extremely versatile multipurpose lighting. The beam of light can be directed up to a perpendicular angle of 90°, making the best possible use of this versatile system. In addittion, the system is extremely easy to install, as it comprises an external track, wich, when fitted to the structure, easily hosts directly fitted lighting elements, without requiring any adjustment to the plasterboard support to alter the arrangement. Consequently, with Horto, it is extremely easy to vary and adapt the lighting fixture to create a simple arrangement.
