Growing means exactly this, reinventing a shape that already seemed perfect. Ten years after its creation, the KIPU pouf becomes an armchair, KIPU Club. In 2014, for Lapalma, the duo Arderssen&Voll created a pouf that is both sculptural and informal, and also ideal as a side table. Its shape was inspired by a smooth river pebble. Throughout a decade, this highly elegant and versatile pouf, created to be freely placed in lounge areas, on its own or grouped, has occupied other spaces, from offices to libraries, hotels and homes, conveying its personality and comfort in a variety of shapes and upholstery wherever placed. In 2024, the Norwegian design studio added an ergonomic backrest to the KIPU seat, which supports, protects and gently embraces the body. The pebble has become a nest.
