The traditional three-legged stool is the most stable and basic stool. Luco reflects an archetypical idea whilst integrating a contemporary sense. A craftsman with a lathe and a carpenter using CNC technology collaborate in production. The seat and legs of Luco are made of beech wood and the footrest of painted iron. Luco is available in three heights and has been designed and manufactured to withstand heavy use in public areas. “I am very interested in working with local resources and using different materials and technology that include both innovation and tradition. I do not like the idea of a uniform world where products have an unclear origin and are made of materials that we do not recognize”. Produced by Mobles 114
