PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
The tiles are made of Italian porcelain and American magnets, and the subfloor material is an American rubberized steel membrane with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing. We manufacture the magnetic system in Canada. This system is designed with commercial use in mind, but also very well-suited to residential use. It's an ideal solution for retail spaces, where turnaround time in both initial installation and repairs is critical. The flexibility to re-design makes it ideal for spaces that need to modernize their look frequently. The tiles are made to withstand commercial use. Also, it has a unique feature, design-wise, as the wood-look porcelain installs seamlessly; thus, the grout doesn't give away the fact that it is indeed porcelain and not wood!
Sustainability is a cornerstone of our company. The magnets we use are made of 75% recycled material. We eliminated the mortar and grout, so there is no longer any risk of silica exposure, and there is less water waste in the process of installation. As tiles can be individually replaced, much less material is wasted. Porcelain is a natural, durable material, which means fewer repairs over the lifetime of the product, which saves both material and one's sanity. The tiles are also made with a minimum of 40% recycled material. They are rearrangeable, so one set can be reused - creating a new look every time.
