The Martins bar arose from the need to improve the functionality of the place designated for the bar in the residence.
The interior design of the house guided the definition of materials and composition of the piece. The wood and the brass establish a dialogue with the pre-existences through continuity. Thus, the piece harmonizes with the interiors, without contrast.
The size was proposed according to the width and height available in the space under the stairs. Also, there was a concern with the exposure of the bottles, an important aspect for the resident's affective memory.
