Armchair and Chairs

The first sign of this collaboration is Milly, the new upholstered armchair, the first one of a series, that is expression of a new concept of "silent innovation". Milly with its curved and elegant shapes renews and revises the classic lines of the tub armchair. The structure in steel rod, thanks to the two parallel semicircles, is stable and light and available in chrome or powder coated version. The anterior semicircle has been studied to facilitate the waking up and freedom of the movement. But the innovative solutions go further, like the backrest that tapers upwards, with a curvature that guarantees a manageable and more relaxing seat.

The office armchair is a business card, that tells who we are and what we represent. Over one hundred fabrics, colors and finishes make Milly a crossover seat, able to fit easily into any office environment, even the most formal, and into contemporary living. Milly will be expanded with two versions: one with wooden legs and one with a swivel structure, that anticipates a large family of armchair, ottomans and sofas, characterized by modularity.

The products that Viganò& C. realizes must be considered instruments of work to all effects. An office chair must go beyond the concept of beauty, must respond to specific operational needs. It is a complex machine, made of efficient mechanics and comfortable padding, balances and warmth. Behind every chair designed and produced by Viganò& C. there are people who have dedicated time and resources to solve every minimal aesthetic and functional detail.

In Viganò& C. the research on materials never stops. The selection covers the best materials available in the market, in order to be able to meet the most stringent international standards.

Milly will be presented at the next Fuorisalone, at an exclusive location in Piazzale Cadorna 2, and this is only a first taste of the new corporate identity that will be presented in its entirety in 2020.
