Why are most modern buildings cubes? This question formed the starting point for an octagonal shaped building, inspired by nature and classical architecture. This shape creates an atmosphere of togetherness emphasizing the building’s core functions: outdoor cooking and eating.
The central heating element and two worktops provide the space for cooking comfortably. A big sofa for up to twelve people is divided by tabletops that can be used for eating. The building is made of two basic materials: wood for the construction and concrete for the central element.
