Delo studio is constantly in keeping with technology outbreaks, including the recycling of secondary raw materials. Addressing recycled plastic, the brand tries to find new solutions both in terms of furniture design and sustainability. The latest outcome of this work is called Rechair which was developed in collaboration with Eburet studio. Its seating is 3D-printed from the waste of yogurt cup’s production. This technology enables the creation of complex forms from reliable and durable material.
Rechair consists of two parts: a comfortable seat and a metal frame which are connected with a help of bolts and a hex key. The pre-assembled construction and the possibility to stack it ease the process of delivery, also making the model convenient for the later storage. In the future all parts of the chair might be recycled, which makes it as eco-friendly as possible. The first Rechair is of light gray color, though later its color palette was extended with dark gray and pink.
