With the RMServer remote monitoring system, you get the best out of your sound systems by reporting the exact status of every loudspeaker and how much power is being applied, at any time. RMServer compact hardware, Compass software, and loudspeakers equipped with RMS modules create a system that is simple to configure and easy to use. Applications include stadiums, arenas, concert halls, theatrical sound reinforcement, cinema installations, theme parks, and touring sound reinforcement.
With the electronics and amplifiers located inside the cabinets, the need to monitor systems remotely requires a powerful tool: RMServer with Compass software. The RMS module connects with RMServer and reports back to Compass software. Many Meyer Sound loudspeakers come automatically equipped with these modules, or they can be special-ordered and retrofitted as needed. Each RMServer will monitor up to 50 loudspeaker nodes when discovered by the Compass Software. Any system using older RMS equipped loudspeakers is compatible with RMServer so it's simple to upgrade Legacy RMS networking hardware and software without replacing the loudspeakers.
