Revolutionary Trinetic task chair wins ‘Red Dot – Best of the Best’ Product Design Award Boss Design is pleased to announce that its Trinetic task chair that is being debuted at NeoCon has won the ‘Red Dot – Best of the Best’ Product Design Award 2017 - an international accolade whose previous winners include Apple, Dyson and Ferrari.

Having already blazed a trail across Europe, Trinetic offers the world’s first fully certified task chair to provide dynamic support without the need for manual user adjustment. Providing ergonomic excellence and an unrivalled level of comfort, it can be specified across a broad array of settings in the workplace. From a collaborative work chair to an eight-hour task chair, Trinetic responds to the needs of the individual user at any given time.

Trinetic uses three independent pivot points that combine to create a chair that ‘follows’ rather than resists the user. This promotes better support through a wide range of bodymovements and as well as providing greater comfort and support, it encourages a more dynamic user experience.

Boasting a sophisticated and refined aesthetic, Trinetic is built around an aluminium cradle which can be finished in a wide array of styles. It can be supplied in any combination of mesh, fabric or leather seat and backrest, together with a choice of four and five-star base options.

Mark Barrell, Design Director at Boss Design, comments: “Having completely deconstructed the market’s established ideas about how a task chair should move and what it should offer the user, Trinetic sets the benchmark for the next generation of office seating. Courtesy of its pioneering design, Trinetic provides tangible ergonomic and commercial benefits in order to meet the demands of a modern workplace.”

Jeff adds: “It is an honor to be recognized by the Red Dot judging panel and a very proud moment for everybody involved in this epic project.” Beating submissions from 54 countries, Trinetic impressed the Red Dot judges with its exceptional quality of design and manufacture, and scored highly for innovation, functionality andecological compatibility. This internationally recognised quality seal represents one of the most stringent evaluation processes in the world for industrial design and innovation, fully endorsing the pioneering form and intelligent engineering that has resulted in a truly unique product.
