“Tension and Release”
’Tension and Release’ concept was proposed by the rakugo performer Katsura Shijaku. It refers to the phenomenon where sustained tension is followed by a moment of release, leading to laughter and a sense of relaxation.

We began to wonder—could the same dynamic be applied to spatial design?
In practice, we created a relaxing semi-private environment by intentionally contrasting the type and tone of wood used inside and outside the booth. The shift in atmosphere as you step inside helps ease the mind and body.
