Adhwa- architecture.interiors as Interior Architects

With a simple visual language and affinity for brightness, the AG Finance office is a small yet significant project in the repertoire of Adhwa Architects. The client brief essentially required a simple, efficient and delightful workspace where patrons of the business could conduct meetings and hold internal discussions. Designed within _500_sq.ft, this office is an exemplar of clean, contextual design and build solutions applied within a compact space. The design intent was to create open and breathable workspaces while also maintaining privacy when required. A simple palette of natural wood, glass and ample shades of blue comes together against natural, white backdrops. Apart from achieving a finesse in spaces and furnishings, this project showcases Adhwa Architects’ commitment to timely delivery and quick design execution.

As the office is used only  by patron-owners, public or common areas such as a formal reception and foyer were not required. In its place, a small seating element adjacent to storage cabinets is designed. A generous use of glass partitions with sleek wooden frames divide as well as visually connect an informal meeting room to formal workspace. Also, a deliberate design decision to use heavy, fixed furniture minimally and add more loose, lightweight furniture elements in the two main meeting rooms allows a sense of lightness in the office. In this regard, selected lighting fixtures too are non-invasive and kept simple, in the form of black pendant lights and embedded ceiling LED lights.

Natural tones of wood on countertops, tabletops and slender wall shelves gently gleam in natural light. A neutral color of horizontal blinds regulates a wash of natural light, casting linear patterns of shadow on walls.Custom-designed credenzas with grooved wooden shutters complement grooved patterns on wooden partition walls. In this setting, handpicked accessories, soft furnishings and indoor plants sink into a relaxed, comfortable professional environment.
