Amethyst Office Ha Noi

Apes Design as Interior Architects

Apes Design improved the work environment at the offices of startup financial investment company, Amethyst, located in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Amethyst is a start-up company specializing in financial investment, they came to Apes Design with the desire to create a new office that helps them have the best working environment to develop. Amethyst brings young people together with innovative thinking, their request for this project to create an office with modern style and flexibility in use.

During the design orientation, Apes Design has prioritized creating separate spaces, fully meeting the functions, flexible in the process of use that closes or opens depending on the user. The color tone in the office is black and white, bringing professionalism while emphasizing the human element in the workspace.

The current site with three sides of glass windows to receive natural light is beneficial for the design. Private spaces even can receive natural light. Apes Design has brought the idea of “box in box” into this project by turning the private rooms into boxes that can be arbitrarily “closed or opened” according to the purpose of the users.

With an office that requires high flexibility, we do not use fixed glass walls but use a “mobile glass wall” system for customers to customize during use.

In the office, the working area is arranged into two main subdivisions, a fixed working area for PC users and a customizable area for laptop users. These two areas are separated by a movable glass door system that allows users to use it for their work as well as exchange it with other teams.

In the fixed area, the systems of tables and chairs are arranged close to the walls, both to ensure individual work but also to exchange and group meetings in this private area.

For the flexible working area, we arrange non-fixed tables and chairs, user can be flexible in flexible seating arrangements, bringing convenience, comfort, and inspiration for their jobs.

In this office, flexibility is our top priority, so we have arranged floor sockets in many different locations, and equipped them with high-speed wifi and 5G systems to help users can work in any position in the office, including the sofa in the waiting area for guests.

In addition to the above features, we also bring trees into the office to help users rebalance after stressful working hours.

With this project, we brought a lot of emotion to our client’s first office. By offering flexibility, modernity, and professionalism, we hope to make our small contribution to the success of Amethyst.
