We present to you one of our new projects: the Moema apartment.
The renovation provided the creation of a new entrance hall, which did not exist before. To delimit it we built a wooden partition, and below it we positioned a bench that also serves as a shelf for shoes. Thinking of functioning as a vestibule, we also placed hooks on the opposite wall to hang purses and coats.
The apartment's home-theater is located where one of the apartment's four bedrooms used to be. To integrate it with the living and dining rooms, one wall was knocked down, and the remaining beams and pillars were stripped away to expose the concrete.
The conversion of this bedroom and its opening into the living room made it possible to integrate the TV, living, and dining rooms and create one large open space. The result of the layout redesign was a spacious, integrated environment. The wooden floor, present in these three rooms, is original to the apartment and was totally revitalized.
In the dining room we were able to create a niche to accommodate a large sideboard by remodeling the laundry room, which is behind this wall. This change in layout also made it possible to create a niche in the kitchen to accommodate the refrigerator.
The restroom and one of the bathrooms in the apartment also underwent renovation. The changes in tiles, cabinetry, metals, ceramics, and stone modernized these environments. Also in the kitchen all the cabinetry, appliances, and finishes were changed, totally renovating this space.
