An apartment on the second floor of a small building along Via degli Apuli, in the San Lorenzo neighborhood (Rome), overlooking the chimney of the former Wurher brewery, destroyed by the bombing of July 19, 43 '

We intervened at the request of a young Italian-Belgian couple to improve and integrate functional spaces they were not fully satisfied with despite the recent renovation they had tastefully and sensitively completed with architect Guido Crescentini Anderlini.

the living room saw a single sofa arranged on the long side of a rectangular space that was continuously an object of passage.

The natural ash frame designed and shaped on the 'window casing with custom-made cushions creates an environment of conversation and relaxation making the most of the available space.

Another need was to increase storage capacity in the kitchen, on which we intervened by inserting wooden elements to complement the existing kitchen.

In the bedroom we created space for a study area by drawing desk along the wall and taking advantage of the depth of the window compartment overlooking the old chimney

In the laundry room , called to screen the visible appliances inside a small hallway, we made a cabinetry with ribbed doors and bronzed mirrors on a red and white striped background.
