Arena Bogotá is located in Calle 80, allowing the arena to serve as the destination spot for the Colombian capital to converge at a series of events including live music performances, business conventions, and sporting events. The mega-structure, which has become a must-see cultural and entertainment center in the region, occupies a plot of land that exceeds over 1,000,000 square feet, and includes construction on over 750,000 square feet as part of the arena and other event-space.

Arena Bogotá has a capacity of 24,000 spectators as part of a strategic design that caters to attendees. With its intentional focus on user experience, the new construction introduced a pedestrian bridge which ushers all users via an elevated walkway. Steering away from the typical pedestrian bridge, this design utilizes the aesthetics and materials from the new arena to provide users with a taste of what is to come.

The design for the envelope of the pedestrian bridge captivates attendees as soon as they approach the parking lot via car. This design does so by ensuring that the thousands of users who will cross by foot experience what Arena Bogota is all about, and by serving as a live billboard to the thousands of cars that pass under it daily.
