GIPP arkitektur as Architects

Sigurd Lewerentz (1885-1975) received commissions in Skåne early in his career, and continued to work in the region throughout his life, where many of his famous works is situated. These works are presented at a major exhibition during the spring and summer of 2023 at Skissernas Museum in Lund, where GIPP arkitektur was commissioned for the exhibition design.

The projects are presented through archive material, drawings, photographs and objects. The exibition design brings together this material with the architecture of Skissernas Museum, and lets the sober pragmaticism of the archive inform the design through podiums and cabinets in untreated plywood. Room-sized archival photographs let the visitors inhabit the inner spatialities of Lewerentz.
