Better Health is a tech start up company that strives to digitize and modernize the antiquated medical supplies industry. Over 80 million Americans use medical supplies in their homes on a regular basis, but getting access to these products can be challenging and costly. They believe you deserve better with a goal to make life easier and help you take care of yourself at home.
Dav Studio’s approach for their space was to bring it back to basics and put a focus on simple things that are often overlooked. Covid has really changed the workplace and how we work. Some companies offer a remote or hybrid working option, while some require employees to go back in the office full-time. Better Health offers employees flexibility with a hybrid working model.
Dav Studio’s design is help emphasize the importance of taking better care of yourself. When employees come into the office, they will feel a sense of comfort as if they are working from their own home. Taking advantage of the natural daylight from the windows and skylights, Dav Studio created a living room-like area with a feature wall housing many plants. Studies have shown that indoor plants may help reduce stress levels. Real plants may sharpen our attention, improve indoor air quality, recover from illness faster, and boost productivity. Employees can take full advantage of such benefits when they are in the office.
It’s important to provide alternate ways of working. Not everyone wants to be chained to a desk. We all work differently. A custom bar height table divides the open office creating a breakout space for informal meetings or lunch gatherings. Small and cozy meeting rooms with lounge seating provides another alternative space for employees to take calls, zoom meetings, or in-person meetings. Work however and wherever you’re comfortable. Dav Studio has curated a space of comfort, calmness, and good vibes only to promote a healthy and balanced work-life for Better Health and their employees.
