This project is to develop a General Development Plan for the territory of “Economic Zone – Sofia Bojurishte”, near the capital of Bulgaria- Sofia. The construction of the “Economic Zone – Sofia Bojurishte” is an upcoming investment project for the “National Industrial Zones Company” AD in the village of Gurmazovo (Гурмазово), municipality of Bojurishte (Божурище). Total area of the zone is approximately 1914 acres.

The zone is initially divided into several parts including an industrial park in partnership with Chinese investors, a high-tech park, administration centre and logistics with a rail freight terminal for loading and unloading stock. This project aims at: • Building a modern and multifunctional business zone which can react adequately at the fast evolving industry in the country; • Economic development of the region and rising the living standards of the population; • Relief and development of the local business; • Ecologically clean and high-tech inustry; • Building a quality environment for new companies up to the highest standards and expectations due to the fast growing business climate in the region; • Satisfying the needs of the current and future clients by presenting a fully completed product equipped with all kinds of infrastructural facilities.

The zone is situated on a flat terrain with a stream passing through which is going to be used for constructing a water park near the future sports facilities. Sofia Bojurishte Zone is situated 23 kilometers from the Sofia International Airport which gives it a very good communication advantage.
