Bow Grade II Listed Townhouse

LOUD Architecture & Interior Design as Architects

Loud. Architecture & Interior Design have completed a unique project in Bow, London UK.

This previously run-down family home has been transformed into a bright dwelling with captivating design features for a young, growing family.

Loud. Architecture & Interior Design remodelled the interior with bright, fresh designs which compliment the original architecture whilst bringing it into the 21st century.

How is the project unique?

The project is unique as it uses bespoke design ideas for the house such as internal crittall windows, internal foliage with secret doors and colourful concrete sinks!

What are the sustainability features?

The house uses locally sourced materials that are sympathetic to the design

What were the key challenges?

We had to apply for listed building consent as the house was Grade II Listed, before we could move the layout or cut into the original fabric of the townhouse.

Key products used:

KAST Concrete basin, Domus tiles, Drench Shower, Lusso Stone shower, taps, Eclisse Pocket door systems, Stark carpets, bespoke joinery and lighting
