Investor’s objective was to create an extraordinary IT office that stimulates creative thinking and perceives their employees in another way than some corporations do. This challenge required from us to approach functions of an office in a brand new way.
Our conception for the interior was based on a simple functional division. Administration parts, a conference room and the Board’s offices were placed next to the entrance. In the second part of the office there is big space in which one can find work stations and a row of social rooms, such as a server room, a creative room, a toilet, a kitchen, a phone booth and a wardrobe.
Opaque polycarbonate wall is the most characteristic element of the interior. It separates the work space from the supplementary area as well as the administrative area from the entrance area. Light that permeates the wall makes it look lighter.
Shades of white and grey dominated the office’s colours. However, social rooms were painted in bright colours so that they correspond with company’s identification. Together with semiopaque polycarbonate they introduce some colours to the main work space. In the office’s open space there is concrete on the ceiling that makes the interior appear rough. On the walls there are quotes chosen by the employees which are written in a form of code and emphasize the IT profile of the office.
