Burlesque

The project's design centers around a woman who is a collector of shoes, jewelry and clothes and who lives in a small apartment rental. Keeping in mind the temporary stay of the tenant, the furniture is mobile and modular, and its function is optimized fordaily use. Each piece of furniture works as a component of the whole, complementary ecosystem. The white lacquer surfaces highlight her material objects, thus making the objects themselves an integral part of the space and the space a physical manifestation of her style and dress. The synthetic turf on the stairs and loft suggests a calming, nature refuge, offering the tenant solace from hectic, real-life events
