Casa Baglioni

Spagnulo & Partners has designed Casa Baglioni, the Milanese address of Baglioni Hotels & Resorts. Located in a 1913 Liberty-style building in the Brera district, the hotel offers an intimate, discreet and warmly welcoming hospitality experience, inspired by the artistic and cultural ferment of 1960s Milan.

The project Casa Baglioni is a sophisticated Milanese residence, where colours, materials and textures create a refined and welcoming atmosphere. The lobby, the 30 rooms and suites, the dining room and the wine room of the restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler are furnished with bespoke pieces designed by Spagnulo & Partners. Rounded forms, walnut paired with brass and marble, geometric fabrics, boiserie, wallpapers, Italian herringbone parquet and terrazzo flooring recall the design language of the 1960s.

A dialogue with art runs through every space: the rugs reference Castellani and Bonalumi, ceilings and floors evoke Giò Ponti, the lamps recall Fausto Melotti, and the entrance chandelier pays tribute to Lucio Fontana. A selection of artworks curated with Stefano Cecchi Trust Collection completes the project, transforming Casa Baglioni into a place where hospitality, design, art and Milanese culture coexist in harmony.
