Casa Gourmet is a sensitive reinterpretation of a classic home in Valencia's Eixample district. A renovation and interior design project that seeks not simply to update, but to delicately reinterpret the neoclassical and modernist heritage that inhabits its walls, ceilings and floors.

From the entrance, the space unfolds like a fragmented but harmonious narrative, in which each room is defined by an essential triad: materiality, geometry and detail. Under these premises, the home becomes a choreographed play of contrasts, where each element dialogues with the next, always filtered through the romantic prism of those who inhabit it.

The original mouldings, hydraulic flooring and reliefs on the walls and ceilings are not replicated, but rewritten. They are updated without betraying their origin, in a measured tension between the ornamental and the sober. The carpentry, with its classic lines and contemporary craftsmanship, structures the visuals and organises the living space with controlled subtlety.

The layout is clearly organised: a night area reserved for rest—where bedrooms and bathrooms are designed as warm, introspective spaces—and a day area that revolves around a wooden perimeter that frames and connects the hall, kitchen and living room. This layout culminates in a large natural stone island, which not only articulates daily life but also embodies the social heart of the house.

Far from repeating itself, each space has a distinct personality. An arch, a texture, a unique geometry—each feature speaks, refers, suggests. The whole is unified by an invisible thread: the restrained, almost cinematic romanticism of its owners. A vision that, without renouncing the past, projects the present with a deeply personal elegance.
