"Casa RH14" is a work that merges with its natural surroundings to create a unique living experience. The topography of the terrain was utilized to integrate interior and exterior spaces, establishing a seamless connection between the dwelling and its environment. The design focuses on maintaining visual axes that traverse the spaces, creating privacy and harmony in the composition of the house. The materials used are primarily natural and regional, such as stone and reed, contributing to a sense of warmth in the house.
Entry to the house is through a pathway that leads to the main entrance, where a garden serves as a preamble to the entryway. Once inside, the house is organized along a central axis that connects the different spaces. The house was designed on a plane parallel to the sea, with the intention of maximizing ocean views and the ingress of natural light into the various areas. Social areas and bedrooms feature large windows that offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, fostering a sense of continuity between the interior and exterior.
The orientation of the house allows natural light to illuminate all spaces, reducing the need for artificial lighting and enhancing the energy efficiency of the house.
