Modernization of a building without compromising identity. This is the classic challenge taken up in the renovation of the Geneva International Conference Center (CICG), a building designed in 1973 by architects André and François Gaillard and Alberto Camenzind.
The renovation focuses on three key elements: flooring, lighting, and furniture. To enhance both comfort and aesthetics, certain spaces are completely redesigned.
A new reception area was created. Bright and functional, it allows for the flexible arrangement of work and exhibition spaces around the reception area.
A cafeteria/bar has been added to encourage social meetings and exchanges - crucial functions for a center of this calibre.
A quiet and calm club lounge offers speakers a place to work and relax.
