Pedder & Scampton have transformed two dilapidated buildings on a shared site into a campus for local Haringey residents with complex autism, learning disabilities and Aspergers. Input from the service users and providers contributed to the design of welcoming and accessible spaces. Construction works were carried out on a tight budget while still resulting in designs specifically tailored to the user group.
This new community landmark includes varied spaces for group activities providing vital life skills training for the users. The main entrance to the campus incorporates graphics inspired by Lucy Brennan, a local artist from ‘Artbox London’.
